Club Facilities

The club has a fully licenced bar open Fridays between 7 – 11pm (during winter hours) and 6.30pm to 11.30pm during the playing season. Plus we offer a bar service during home games and competitions (times vary see notice boards for details).

We aim to ensure a good stock of Alcohol and Low/No Alcohol drinks to ensure ‘drivers’ can enjoy Friday nights.

We have a club house which has a capacity for up to 80 people and is available for hire.

Members – can hire the club for free by arrangement.

Non-members – Please contact the club secretary or email clubsecretary@stirlingbowlingclub.co.uk for costs.

Bowling

New to Lawn Bowling?

Coaching – The club has a number of qualified coaches and we are happy to provide ‘one2one’ or group sessions for people looking to get into lawn bowling. For more information, please see club notice board.

New Bowlers – The Club has a range of internal and friendly competitions which run during the bowling season and encourage members to participate. For more information email: clubsecretary@stirlingbowlingclub.co.uk

Junior Bowling – We are actively looking to develop a junior section and have experienced coaches ready to help with juniors between the ages of 10-15 get started. For more information email : juniorbowls@stirlingbowlingclub.co.uk

Monday Afternoon Bounce Games

Please see the notice board and ask to have your name added to the ‘WhatsApp‘ group, which has been set up so members can join in.

Friday Night ‘Hat Night’ League

Is open to all paid members. Just turn up 15mins prior to the start of play and put your name down (times vary according to hours of darkness, see the notice board for more information)

Cross Club Friendly Competitions

Posters are displayed in the Main (Gents) Locker room for all members to sign up for. (Details of the competition format is also displayed on notice) .

2024 Membership Categories & Costs

Subscriptions are fixed annually at the AGM :

Ordinary membership – £130.00 – This category is open to individuals between 18 – 59 years old.
Senior membership – £110.00 – For those who are 60 plus as of start of playing season 1st April.
Youth membership – £25.00 – Is the category for 7 to 18 years olds.

Social membership – £20.00 – offers individuals of all ages access to club facilities, but they are only allowed to play on green when invited by a paid member.
Honorary life membership – offered to any person(s) in recognition of their services to club or game of bowls.
